Annual bill is the per-month annual price times twelve. The struck-through prices on the monthly cards ($89 and $119) are reference prices; the amount charged after the $1 trial is $59 or $79.
What one MakeUGC video costs on each plan
MakeUGC does not publish a credit rate per model on its pricing page. Its FAQ only says each generation costs "a set number of credits depending on the model, duration, and resolution". But the script that drives the Pro slider converts credits to videos at exactly 100 credits per video, which is how 2,000 credits becomes "20 videos". That is the vendor's own yardstick, so we used it.

Pro is not bought for the rate
A Pro 2,000 credit costs 7.45 cents against Growth's 7.9, a 6 percent saving. People move to Pro because product-in-hand videos, the Video Agent and 4K unlimited sit there, not because credits get meaningfully cheaper. Only the 5,000 tier really cuts the per-video price.
API Pro is no cheaper per credit
API Starter is $99 for 2,000 credits and API Pro $299 for 6,000: 4.95 and 4.98 cents. The extra $200 buys five times the concurrency and a priority queue, not a lower rate. Both API plans also undercut the Pro 2,000 platform plan's credit price by a third.
Per-video figures use MakeUGC's 100-credits-per-video count from its own pricing page. A longer script, 4K or a premium model can cost more; a short talking clip on the basic actor model can cost less. Every discarded take is a generation too, so budget on the takes you keep.

The $1 trial, refunds and licence terms that change the real price
Read from MakeUGC's pricing FAQ, its Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Trial Policy and Fair Use Policy. The headline price is only half the story. The other half is how fast the trial converts, how short the refund clock is, and what happens to credits you do not use.
The $1 trial converts fast
Every platform plan starts at $1 and renews at the full price. The checkout links are labelled 72 hours on monthly plans and 24 hours on quarterly and annual plans, so a trial on the yearly toggle turns into a full year's bill a day later.
Unlimited does not start on the trial
The FAQ says the unlimited Seedance and Nano Banana promos only activate after the $1 trial ends and the first full cycle begins, and unlimited generations run in the standard queue while credits get priority. Judge speed on credits, not on the promo.
One trial per person, per card
The Trial Policy allows one $1 trial per individual or business. If MakeUGC decides a second trial was taken on a linked card, name, billing address or behind a VPN, it may charge the full monthly fee immediately. Agencies testing for several clients should note that.
A three business day refund clock
Full refunds need a request within three business days of purchase or renewal. Under half the credits used gets 50 percent back, half or more gets nothing, and plans active over two weeks are non-refundable. A refunded account is cancelled and its videos deleted.
Credits expire every month
Credits refresh each cycle and unused ones expire at month end. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the end of the period, and extra credit packs can be bought without changing plan. Prices can change with 30 days' notice. By contrast, JoggAI pricing rolls monthly credits over for three months.
Two documents disagree on the licence
The Terms of Service (November 2025) say you own your output, including after the subscription ends. The older Fair Use Policy (July 2025) says outputs are licensed only while a paid subscription is active. Keep your exports and a copy of the terms if you plan to run ads after cancelling.
Three things MakeUGC pricing articles get wrong
The old $49, $69 and $119 price list. Several ranking reviews and AI answers still quote Startup at $49 for 5 videos, Growth at $69 and Pro at $119. The live page is $59, $79 and $149, sold in credits rather than a video count. If a comparison uses the old list, every cost-per-video figure in it is too low.
Monthly only. Most articles show one price per plan. MakeUGC now sells quarterly (about 30 percent off) and annual (about 50 percent off) billing, which halves the cost of a video for anyone willing to commit, and makes the monthly Startup plan the most expensive way in.
"Free trial". There is no free trial. There is a $1 trial with a card, a short conversion window and an anti-abuse penalty. Budget for the full first month, not for a dollar.
