What is the difference between Starter and Plus/Pro output?
Free and Starter ads are built from an AI creator image with an AI voiceover and burned-in captions - a clean, ready-to-run static-creator ad. Plus and Pro unlock real AI-generated video: we drive the creator avatar into an actual motion clip with Google Veo, driven by your script, then layer the same AI voiceover and captions on top. If a video clip cannot be generated for any reason, the render automatically falls back to the image-based ad so you always get a usable deliverable.
Can I actually use these videos in paid ads?
Yes. Every ad you generate on a paid plan (Starter, Plus, Pro, Enterprise) comes with full commercial rights. Run them on Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, or wherever you advertise. No royalties, no usage caps on distribution, no additional licensing fee. The subscription price is the whole cost.
What happens if I hit my generation limit mid-month?
We stop new generations at the limit and let you know. You can upgrade to a higher tier immediately to unlock more capacity - your billing restarts on a new cycle from that date, and any remaining days on your old plan are prorated. You can also just wait for your monthly quota to reset at your next billing date.
How does the 14-day money-back guarantee work?
If you subscribe to any paid plan and are not happy for any reason within the first 14 days of your first subscription, email [email protected] and we will refund you in full. No questions, no hoops. This applies once per customer on the initial purchase. Renewals and plan upgrades are not covered by the guarantee.
What is the difference between the yearly and monthly price?
Yearly billing gives you a 50% discount versus paying month to month. Starter goes from $49/mo to $24/mo (billed as $288 per year). Plus goes from $149/mo to $74/mo (billed as $888 per year). Pro goes from $499/mo to $249/mo (billed as $2,988 per year). The yearly plan is billed upfront as a single payment.
Can I switch plans or cancel any time?
Yes, both. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period - you keep access to your paid features until then, then you drop to the free tier. Your projects and generated videos stay in your account.
Do free-tier videos have a watermark?
Yes. Free-tier and anonymous session videos are exported at 720p with a UGCGen watermark. They are great for testing the product and seeing what the output looks like, but they are not suitable for paid ads. Any paid plan removes the watermark and bumps export quality to 1080p (Starter) or 4K (Plus/Pro).
Do I need to disclose that my ads use AI-generated content?
Platform policies vary and are evolving. Meta, TikTok, and Google have guidelines around AI-generated content in ads, and some jurisdictions have emerging disclosure requirements. It is your responsibility as the advertiser to understand and follow the disclosure rules that apply to your campaigns. UGCGen does not make compliance decisions on your behalf, but we are happy to point you to the relevant platform policy pages if you contact us.
