Fiverr UGC Pricing: What a UGC Video Costs on Fiverr
Fiverr UGC gigs start at $10 to $200, then Fiverr adds 5.5% plus $3.50 under $200 and some gigs sell commercial rights as an extra. Here is the real cost per ad, and when AI UGC is cheaper.

A UGC video on Fiverr costs anywhere from about $10 to $200 at the gig's starting price, and the final bill is higher. Fiverr adds a 5.5% service fee to every payment plus a flat $3.50 on any order under $200, a commercial use license can be sold as a paid extra, and you still have to get the product to the creator. For a single ad from a US spokesperson gig starting at $75, expect about $82.63 at checkout before extras. If you need many variants to test, an AI UGC generator prices the same ad at under a dollar; if you need a real person holding your product, a vetted Fiverr creator is one of the cheapest human routes there is.
This page is for a brand deciding whether to buy UGC on Fiverr this month. Every number below was read off Fiverr's own pages: the "From $" prices on the UGC Videos category, the fee rules in Fiverr's help center, and the ownership clause in its terms of service. Where we estimate, we say so.
Fiverr UGC prices: what the category page actually shows
Fiverr's UGC Videos category lists gigs with a "From $" price, which is the cheapest package the seller offers. In the capture we read, the spokesperson gigs at the top of the category started at $10, $15, $25, $30 and $35, and a gig selling a senior American male spokesperson for ads started at $75. Across the whole page the starting prices ran from $10 up to $200.
| Gig type seen on the category | Starting price | What "from" usually buys |
|---|---|---|
| General UGC spokesperson clip | $10 to $15 | The seller's basic package, typically one short video |
| UGC ads for TikTok and Reels | $25 to $35 | A short ad-style video; hooks and extra revisions often cost more |
| US spokesperson for ad reads | $75 | A creator matched to a specific US audience |
| Top of the category range | Up to $200 | Premium packages, more videos or more deliverables |
The starting price is a floor, not a quote. Sellers stack packages (basic, standard, premium) and Gig Extras on top: more hooks, faster delivery, raw footage, extra revisions and, most importantly for advertisers, commercial use. Read the package table on the gig page before you compare two creators on their headline number.
How much is Fiverr's fee on a UGC order?
Fiverr's help center states the rule plainly: the standard service fee is 5.5% of the purchase amount, and Fiverr adds $3.50 to orders under $200. Every payment carries its own fee, so a tip or an extra added later is charged again. That flat $3.50 hits cheap UGC hardest, because it is a bigger share of a small order.
| Gig price | 5.5% fee | Small order fee | You pay | Fees as share of the gig |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | $0.55 | $3.50 | $14.05 | 40.5% |
| $35 | $1.93 | $3.50 | $40.43 | 15.5% |
| $75 | $4.13 | $3.50 | $82.63 | 10.2% |
| $150 | $8.25 | $3.50 | $161.75 | 7.8% |
| $200 | $11.00 | None | $211.00 | 5.5% |
One practical consequence: if you plan to buy several videos from the same creator, one larger order is cheaper than several small ones, because the $3.50 applies per order under $200. Ask the seller for a custom offer covering the whole batch.
Does a Fiverr UGC video include commercial rights?
Usually, but check. Fiverr's terms of service say buyers are granted all rights for the delivered work unless the seller specifies otherwise on the gig page or the two sides agree otherwise, and they add that some gigs charge extra, through Gig Extras, for a commercial use license. For a UGC ad that is the line that matters. A video you can post organically but not run as a paid ad is not the product you were trying to buy.
Two more clauses are worth knowing. Fiverr may use delivered work that the buyer agreed to publish, for example as part of a review, for its own marketing. And Fiverr's UGC video guidelines tell both sides that content must not mislead viewers or act as a fake review, that a creator must not pose as a licensed professional, and that the paid partnership rules of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube still apply. Cheap does not change your compliance obligations.
What else a Fiverr UGC ad costs you
- The product. A human creator needs a unit in hand. For a $40 product shipped with tracking, the product and postage can exceed the cheapest gig price, and units rarely come back.
- Time. Shipping, filming and revision rounds take days. If your ad fatigues mid-week, the wait costs ad spend that never shows on the Fiverr invoice.
- Losing hooks. If one ad in five becomes a winner, the real cost of a winner is five gigs, not one.
- Vetting. Ratings on the category page measure how happy buyers were, not whether the ads made money. Budget for a test order before you commit to a batch, or hire from a pool of pre-vetted freelancers instead of browsing gigs one rating at a time.
Fiverr UGC vs an AI UGC generator: cost per ad
The comparison only makes sense at the volume you actually need. A brand buying one hero testimonial is in a different market from a brand that needs twenty hook variants a month.
| Ads per month | Fiverr, $75 US spokesperson gig, one order per ad | UGCGen Starter ($49 for 100 ads) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $82.63 plus product and shipping | $49 (first ad free to try) |
| 5 | $413.13 plus product and shipping | $49 |
| 20 | $1,652.50 plus product and shipping | $49, or $24 a month billed yearly |
At one ad a month the two are closer than they look, and a real person holding the product may be worth the difference. At twenty the AI route is roughly thirty times cheaper before you count a single shipped unit. That gap is the case for testing hooks and scripts with AI first and paying a human creator only for the script that already won. We laid out every route, including Billo, Insense and US creators hired direct, on our affordable UGC video services comparison.
When Fiverr UGC is the right buy
Buy on Fiverr when the ad has to show a physical interaction an AI creator cannot perform: skincare texture on skin, a drink being mixed, an unboxing where the packaging sells the product. Pick a creator whose samples already look like ads in your category, confirm commercial use in writing, and bundle videos into one order to avoid repeated small order fees.
Skip it when what you need is volume. If the job is "find out which of fifteen hooks stops the scroll", paying a creator and shipping a unit for every variant is the most expensive way to learn. Generate the variants with an AI UGC ad generator, run them, and send the winning script to a human creator afterward. If you want a managed service instead of hiring gig by gig, our Billo pricing page covers what that costs, and the UGC creator marketplace comparison covers the rest of the platforms.
Frequently asked questions
How much does UGC cost on Fiverr?
UGC gigs on Fiverr start at about $10 and run up to $200 at their starting package price, based on the "From $" prices on Fiverr's UGC Videos category. Fiverr then adds a 5.5% service fee and $3.50 on orders under $200, so a $75 gig costs $82.63 at checkout before any extras.
Is Fiverr UGC worth it?
For one or two videos that must show a real person using your product, yes, if you vet samples and confirm commercial rights. For testing many hooks it rarely is, because each variant costs a gig, a fee and a shipped product. AI UGC tools make the same variants for under a dollar each.
Does Fiverr UGC include commercial rights?
By default Fiverr's terms grant buyers all rights to delivered work, but a seller can state otherwise on the gig page, and some gigs sell a commercial use license as a paid Gig Extra. Confirm in writing that you can run the video as a paid ad before you order.
How much is Fiverr's service fee for buyers?
Fiverr charges buyers a 5.5% service fee on each payment and adds $3.50 to orders under $200. Extras and tips are separate payments with their own fee. On a $10 gig the fees are 40.5% of the price; on a $200 order they are 5.5%.
Is Fiverr cheaper than Billo for UGC?
Per video, usually yes at the bottom of the market: Fiverr gigs start near $10, while Billo's last published packs worked out to about $83 to $100 per video. Billo handles creator matching and briefs for you, and it no longer shows its prices publicly, so compare quotes on the same brief.
