Plans from $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly

Revid AI is worth it for creators and agencies who publish short-form video to TikTok, Reels and Shorts every day, and less so for brands that mainly want paid UGC ads. Its $39 Growth plan includes 2,000 credits, direct publishing and full API access, which is strong value. The catch for advertisers is that the realistic UGC look costs far more than the plan suggests: a 30 second talking avatar ad uses 40 to 200 credits (about $0.78 to $3.90), while the same 30 seconds rendered with Seedance 2.5 at 1080p uses 1,500 credits, about $29. Every price here was read on revid.ai on 7 October 2026.

What Revid AI is built to do

Revid.ai is a short-form video studio for channel growth. You start from a text prompt, a link, a recording or one of more than 3 million viral videos in its library, and it writes a script, picks visuals, adds a voiceover and captions, and gives you an editable short. Growth and Ultra add direct publishing to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, post stats with one-click remix, channels to watch for viral ideas, and Auto-Mode workers that keep producing on a schedule.

That is a different job from an ad tool. A channel needs volume and consistency, and a cheap slideshow-style video with a good hook is often fine. A paid ad needs to stop a thumb in a feed you are paying for, survive a creative review, and be cut into several hooks for testing. Revid can do pieces of that. It was not designed around it.

Revid AI pricing in one table

The full breakdown, including every slider step and Boost pack, is on our Revid AI pricing page. The short version:

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyCredits a month
Hobby$39$32 a month ($384)None listed on the card
Growth$39 (struck from $99)$32 a month ($384)2,000
Ultra$199$166 a month ($1,992)12,000, slider to 200,000 for $2,799
Credit Boost packs$49 to $1,900 oncen/a1,000 to 100,000, never expire

Two things stand out. Hobby and Growth cost exactly the same, and only the Growth card lists AI credits, publishing and API access, so for anyone rendering video the real entry plan is Growth. And Revid's own plan reference for AI assistants lists an Elite tier at $89 with 5,000 credits that the live pricing page does not show.

What a UGC ad costs on Revid AI

Revid prices avatars per 500 characters of script and AI video per 5 seconds of footage. A 30 second ad script is about 75 spoken words, roughly 430 characters, so it fits in one avatar block. At Growth's rate of 1.95 cents a credit:

30 second ad made withCreditsCost on GrowthAds per Growth month
Standard avatar40$0.7850
Good avatar100$1.9520
Ultra avatar200$3.9010
Seedance 2.5 at 720p600$11.703
Seedance 2.5 at 1080p1,500$29.251

So the honest answer to "is Revid cheap" is yes for avatars and no for cinematic footage. The Growth card advertises "Seedance 2.5 and more, up to 4K". At 500 credits per 5 seconds, 4K turns the whole monthly allowance into 20 seconds of video. Run out mid-month and the $49 Boost pack costs 4.9 cents a credit, two and a half times the plan rate.

Where Revid AI is strong

  • Price of entry. $39 a month, or $32 yearly, for 2,000 credits and the whole feature set is low for this category.
  • The API is on every paid plan. Growth includes the Revid API, an MCP server and a CLI, plus a calculate-credits endpoint that estimates a render without an API key. Most rivals keep the API for the top tier.
  • Cost is visible before you render. The editor shows an estimated credit cost next to the Generate button, and Revid publishes its full credit table.
  • Ownership is clear. The terms say users own 100 percent of what they create and can use it however they want, even after cancelling.
  • Publishing is built in. For an agency feeding client channels, posting and stats in the same place saves real time.

Where Revid AI falls short for paid ads

  • Realistic UGC footage is expensive. The style most brands want in a paid feed is the model line that costs 250 credits per 5 seconds at 1080p.
  • Refunds are discretionary. The terms call subscriptions generally non-refundable and allow a refund only if under 10 percent of credits were used and the payment was within 30 days.
  • Credits reset. Unused plan credits disappear at renewal, and yearly plans hand credits out on the 1st of each month, so you cannot front-load a launch.
  • Exports need a live plan. You keep the videos, but every new export requires an active subscription, so re-cutting an old winner after cancelling means paying again.
  • It is a toolbox. You assemble script, avatar, B-roll and captions yourself. Public reviews praise the interface and voiceovers and complain most about credits spent on regenerations, which is the same issue from the user's side.

One more point for teams that care about search as well as social: Revid's channel watching tells you which videos are taking off, not whether your product pages rank in Google. That second question belongs to a keyword rank tracker, and it is worth keeping the two signals apart when you judge a campaign.

Revid AI alternatives for UGC ads, priced per ad

If the main job is UGC-style ads rather than channel content, these are the tools buyers usually compare. Prices were read on each vendor's site in early October 2026.

ToolEntry priceHow it prices an adBest for
Revid.ai$39 a month$0.78 to $3.90 per 30s avatar ad, about $29 as Seedance 1080pChannel volume with publishing and an API
Creatify$39 a month, 100 credits5 credits per 15 seconds, about $1.95 a 15s adCheap avatar ads from a product link
HeyGen$29 a month, 600 creditsCredits per minute by avatar typeTalking-head and spokesperson video
MakeUGC$59 a month, 500 credits100 credits a video, about $11.80Creator-style ads with a large avatar library
UGCGen$49 a month, or $24 yearlyAbout $5.75 a finished ad on Plus ($149 for 26)Finished, captioned UGC ads built from a product URL

Revid wins the raw render-cost column on avatars, and we say so on our own comparison pages. Where the others differ is what comes out and what happens if it does not work. Our Creatify pricing, HeyGen pricing and MakeUGC pricing pages break each one down the same way, and the AI UGC pricing guide puts every tool side by side.

Is Revid AI worth it for your team

Buy Revid if you run organic TikTok, Reels or Shorts channels, for yourself or for clients, and you want volume, publishing and an API at a low monthly price. Growth yearly at $32 is the sweet spot, and a talking avatar look keeps you well inside the credits.

Look elsewhere if the thing you are paying for is a product ad you will put spend behind. In that case you want the finished ad, several hooks of it and a refund window that does not depend on discretion. That is the job UGCGen does: paste a product URL, pick an AI creator and get a captioned 9:16 ad with hook variations and full commercial rights. Starter is $49 a month for one short ad plus 2 extra hook angles, Plus is $149 for 26 ads, and the first purchase comes with a 14 day money-back guarantee. You can run the generator at the top of this page before you sign up.

Revid AI review questions

Is Revid AI worth it?

For channel growth, yes. $39 a month buys 2,000 credits, publishing to three platforms and full API access, which is hard to beat. For paid UGC ads it depends on the look: avatar ads cost under $4 each on Growth, but realistic Seedance footage at 1080p costs about $29 for 30 seconds.

Is Revid AI legit?

Yes. Revid.ai is an established short-form video platform with published plans, a public credit cost table, an API and Terms of Service. Its main limits are commercial rather than trust issues: refunds are discretionary, plan credits reset at renewal, and new exports require an active subscription.

Is Revid AI free?

Not for regular use. You can sign up without a card and new accounts get some free credits to test generation, and a free account can search the viral video library. Regular creation runs on a paid plan's monthly credits, starting with Growth at $39 a month or $32 billed yearly.

Can you use Revid AI videos in ads?

Revid's terms say users own 100 percent of the content they create and can use it however they want, even without an active subscription, which covers advertising. You still need a paid plan to make each new export, and the usual ad platform rules on AI disclosure and claims apply to what you publish.

What is the best Revid AI alternative?

For finished UGC ads, UGCGen builds a captioned ad from a product URL with hook variations and a 14 day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. For the cheapest avatar ads, Creatify is close to Revid on price. For spokesperson video, HeyGen. The full Revid price list is on our Revid AI pricing page.
