Pictory Pricing and Pictory AI Pricing With Plans and Cost Per Video Ad
Pictory advertises video minutes, but anything generated by AI, avatars included, is paid from a much smaller pool of credits. Below is the live price list on both toggles, converted into dollars per avatar minute and per 30 second ad. If you need a finished UGC ad for a product, paste its URL into the tool.

Plans from $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly
The short answer
Pictory pricing is $29 a month for Starter, $59 for Professional and $199 for Team, or $25, $35 and $119 a month billed yearly. Enterprise is quoted from 10 users, and the API starts at $99 a month. The 200 to 1,800 video minutes on the cards are for stock-footage videos built from a script or URL. Generated video and avatars draw on AI credits instead: 100 a month on Starter, enough for about 3 minutes of avatar video. Pictory does not refund paid plans. If the job is a paid social ad, UGCGen builds one from a product URL, and our AI UGC pricing guide compares every tool on cost per finished ad.
Where these numbers come from
We read pictory.ai/pricing on 12 October 2026 on the annual and monthly toggles, including the plan cards, both comparison tables and the pricing FAQ, and the separate Pictory API pricing page. All prices are in US dollars.

Read this before you budget
Pictory video minutes are not AI video minutes
The big number on each card, 200, 600 or 1,800 video minutes, is how much video you can export from Pictory's core workflow: a script, article or recording matched to stock clips from Getty Images and Storyblocks, with captions and a voiceover. It is a generous allowance for that kind of video.
Generated content is billed separately in AI credits, and the card prints what they buy. On Starter monthly, 100 credits cover about 166 images, 1 minute of generated video or 3 minutes of avatar video. Professional's 500 credits cover 5 minutes of video or 16 of avatar. So an advertiser who wants a talking presenter has 3 minutes a month on the $29 plan, not 200.
The second surprise is the yearly toggle on Professional. Monthly Professional gives 500 credits a month, 6,000 a year, for $708. Yearly Professional gives 12,000 credits for $420. Twice the credits for 41 percent less, which makes a monthly AI credit 3.4 times as expensive. Starter and Team give the same credits on both toggles.

Starter
Professional
Team
The page disagrees with itself
The Starter card says 100 AI credits a month, while the monthly comparison table below it says 200. The Professional column shows both 500 and 1,000. We budget on the card, which is what the checkout button sits under.
Text to video is English only
Pictory's FAQ says text-to-video supports English only for now. Voiceovers cover 29 languages on Professional and Team, but a Spanish script will not build a Spanish storyboard.
Custom avatars start on Professional
Starter has stock avatars. Custom avatars and voice cloning arrive on Professional, two of each, and Team gives two per user. Your own face as a presenter costs $59 a month or $35 yearly at minimum.
Pictory cost per ad
What a 30 second Pictory avatar ad costs on each plan
A 30 second avatar clip is half an avatar minute. The second column assumes you generate three versions for every ad you keep, which is our working estimate, not a Pictory figure. Stock-footage videos without an avatar barely touch the credit pool, so for those the minutes are the limit.
| Plan | Avatar minute | 30s avatar ad, one take | 30s ad, three takes | Generated video minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter monthly | $9.67 | $4.83, six a month | $14.50, two a month | $29.00 |
| Starter yearly | $7.50 | $3.75 | $11.25 | $24.00 |
| Professional monthly | $3.69 | $1.84 | $5.53, ten a month | $11.80 |
| Professional yearly | $1.05 | $0.53 | $1.58 | $3.36 |
| Team monthly | $2.49 | $1.24 | $3.73 | $7.96 |
| Team yearly | $1.49 | $0.74 | $2.23 | $4.76 |
Calculated from the minutes Pictory prints on each card, assuming you spend the whole credit pool on avatar video. Yearly figures assume you use the full annual allocation.

30s avatar clips a month on Starter
$29
per generated video minute on Starter monthly
Per minute, Professional yearly is one of the cheapest avatar sources in the category. What it buys is a presenter speaking over a stock-footage storyboard, which is a different ad from a creator holding your product. Compare the avatar-first tools on our Synthesia pricing and InVideo pricing pages, which carry the same per-minute math.
Pictory API pricing

A one-time setup fee, then the video minutes you actually use, billed monthly. Includes 3 months of integration onboarding and 3 hours of template work.
The fine print
Refund, rollover and cancellation terms that change what Pictory costs
All of these come from the FAQ on Pictory's own pricing page. None of them is unusual for the category, but two of them cost money if you miss them.
No refunds on paid plans
Pictory does not refund paid subscriptions. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged at renewal. The 14 day trial is the only risk-free test, so run your real use case in it.
Minutes reset on the 1st
Unused video minutes do not roll over, and the quota resets on the first of every month rather than on your billing date. If you sign up on the 25th, your first month is a week long.
Annual plans load upfront
Yearly plans include the full year of video minutes from day one, so a campaign-heavy quarter can spend them early. That is the strongest practical argument for the yearly toggle after the price.
Projects are deleted on cancel
You keep every video you made, but only the files you downloaded. Pictory permanently deletes all video projects when the account is cancelled, so export before you leave.
Stock media is licensed
Pictory says its clips, music and voiceovers are already licensed for use in your videos, with no royalties to pay. Its pricing page does not address paid ad use of stock avatars, so check the terms before you boost one.
Non-profit discount on request
Non-profits can ask for a discount through the in-app chat. Payment is by card or PayPal, in US dollars.
Pictory for ad teams
Is Pictory worth it for ecommerce video ads
Pictory is good at what it was built for: turning a blog post, webinar or script into a captioned stock-footage video quickly, at a low price per minute. That suits YouTube, training, content marketing and repurposing. A UGC ad is a different format. It needs a believable person talking about your product, a hook in the first two seconds and a 9:16 frame, and Pictory's storyboard approach gets you a narrated slideshow of stock clips unless you spend avatar credits and edit the result yourself.

Pick Pictory when
You have a library of articles, webinars or scripts and want them as captioned videos at volume, and per minute matters more than format. For a product explainer, our explainer video maker page covers when that format is the right ad.
Pick UGCGen when
You want a UGC-style ad you can boost tomorrow, with hooks to test and a refund window. Starter is $49 a month for one short ad plus 2 extra hook angles, Plus is $149 for 26 ads. Other options are on our best AI UGC ad generator shortlist.
Questions buyers actually ask
Pictory pricing questions
How much does Pictory cost?
Pictory costs $29 a month for Starter, $59 for Professional and $199 for Team on monthly billing, or $25, $35 and $119 a month billed yearly ($300, $420 and $1,428 a year). Enterprise starts at 10 users and is quoted. There is a 14 day free trial with 15 video minutes at 720p.
How much is Pictory AI per month?
The cheapest paid plan is Starter at $29 a month, or $25 a month if you pay $300 for a year. Professional is $59 a month or $35 on yearly billing, and Team is $199 a month or $119 yearly for three or more users. Prices are in US dollars, payable by card or PayPal.
Is Pictory free?
No, but it has a 14 day free trial. The trial includes 15 video minutes, 3 video projects, 50 AI credits, a 5 minute maximum video length and 720p export. The No watermark line first appears on the Starter card, so plan on paying before you publish anything.
What are Pictory AI credits?
AI credits pay for generative images, generated video and avatar video, separately from the video minutes headline. Starter monthly includes 100 credits a month, which Pictory says covers about 1 minute of generated video or 3 minutes of avatar video. Professional includes 500 a month and Team 2,400.
Do unused Pictory video minutes roll over?
No. Pictory's FAQ says the video minute quota resets on the first of every month, not on your billing date. Annual plans load the full yearly allocation upfront, so on a yearly plan you can spend 7,200 Professional minutes whenever you like during the year.
Does Pictory offer refunds?
No. Pictory's pricing FAQ says it does not offer refunds on paid subscriptions. You can cancel anytime and you will not be charged at renewal, and the 14 day trial is meant as the test. Download your videos first, because projects are permanently deleted when you cancel.
How much does the Pictory API cost?
API Self-Serve costs $99 a month for 600 video minutes and 120 ElevenLabs voiceover minutes, or $79 a month billed yearly for 7,200 minutes and 1,440 voiceover minutes a year. API for Enterprises has a one-time setup fee and bills the video minutes you actually use each month.
Is Pictory good for UGC ads?
Pictory is built for turning scripts, articles and recordings into stock-footage videos with captions, which suits explainers, YouTube and training. It can add a talking avatar, but it does not produce a handheld creator testimonial for a product. For paid social UGC ads, a tool built for that format is faster.
What is the best Pictory alternative for UGC ads?
For a finished UGC ad for a product, UGCGen is built for that one job. Paste a product URL, pick an AI creator and get a captioned 9:16 ad with hook variations and full commercial rights, plus a 14 day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. Plus is $149 a month for 26 ads, about $5.75 each. For a broader shortlist see our InVideo alternative and Synthesia alternative pages.
Skip the storyboard and get a finished UGC ad
Paste your product URL, pick a creator and watch the ad render with captions and hook variations. Starter covers one short ad a month plus 2 extra hook angles for $49, or $24 on a yearly plan, and Plus covers 26 ads a month, with full commercial rights and a 14 day money-back guarantee on the first purchase.
