Short answer: Insense costs $650 for a one month trial, then $500 a month billed quarterly on the Brand plan ($1,500 a quarter) or $400 a month billed annually. Creator payments are not included, and a marketplace fee of 20 percent on the trial, 10 percent on Brand and 7 percent on Agency is added to every payment you send a creator. Using Insense's own stated floor of $100 per UGC video, ten videos in your first month lands around $1,850 all in, or roughly $185 per finished video. All figures below were read from insense.pro/pricing on September 9, 2026.

Insense is a creator marketplace, not a video tool. You subscribe for access, brief a campaign, hire creators who apply, ship them product, and pay each one separately. That structure is why the sticker price tells you so little: the subscription is the smallest of the three numbers you will actually pay.

What Insense costs in 2026

PlanQuarterly billingAnnual billingCreatorsSeatsBrandsMarketplace fee

Brand$500/mo, $1,500 per quarter$400/mo, $4,800 per yearUnlimited2110%
Agency$800/mo, $2,400 per quarter$640/mo, $7,680 per yearUnlimited457%

Add-ons sit on top and are priced per month: an extra user seat is $30, an extra brand is $100, and another five Meta Partnership Ads connections cost $125. An agency running eight client brands on the Agency plan is therefore paying $800 plus $300 in brand add-ons before a single creator is hired.

The trial is $650 and it renews itself

The trial card reads "Upgrades to quarterly plan. Opt out anytime", and the FAQ underneath spells out what that means: at the end of the trial month your account is automatically upgraded to the Brand plan unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the end of the trial period, and Brand is billed quarterly at $500 per month. So the real decision you are making at signup is not $650. It is $650 now and $1,500 in about four weeks, unless you diary the cancellation with two days to spare.

The trial also caps what you can test. It allows one campaign and up to ten creators to hire, with one seat, one brand and one Meta Partnership Ads connection. That is enough to find out whether creators in your category apply and whether the content is usable. It is not enough to run the kind of batch that would justify the fee, which matters because of the next number.

The marketplace fee grows the more you use the platform

Insense adds a transaction fee to every creator payment. It describes the fee as covering a 5 to 10 percent payment facilitation cost plus a 5 to 10 percent service fee, and it lands at 20 percent on the trial, 10 percent on Brand and 7 percent on Agency. Creator payments themselves are never included in the subscription.

Read those two facts together and the trial is the most expensive month to be productive in. Ten videos at $100 each costs $200 in marketplace fees during the trial, and the identical batch costs $100 once you are on Brand. If you are planning a big first push, the cheap version is to get through the trial with a small campaign and run volume after the plan converts, which is the opposite of how most people use a trial.

Real cost per UGC video on Insense

Insense publishes the creator side too, and it is the number most reviews leave out: "UGC campaigns start at $100 per video, with potential increases for work with a UGC expert or request of both raw and edited assets", and sponsored posts begin at $125 for nano-influencers. Using that $100 floor, here is what a month costs once the subscription, the creator payments and the fee are added together.

ScenarioSubscriptionCreator paymentsMarketplace feeTotalPer video
Trial month, 10 videos$650$1,000$200$1,850$185.00
Brand quarterly, 10 videos$500$1,000$100$1,600$160.00
Brand annual, 10 videos$400$1,000$100$1,500$150.00
Agency annual, 30 videos$640$3,000$210$3,850$128.33

Those totals are our arithmetic on Insense's published numbers, not figures Insense quotes, and they assume every creator works at the stated floor. Ask for raw footage as well as the edit, or hire someone Insense classes as a UGC expert, and the creator line moves first and the fee moves with it.

What the subscription actually buys

Paying for marketplace access is not the same as paying for videos, and it is worth being precise about what the money covers. On Brand and Agency you get unlimited campaigns and unlimited creator hiring, briefing templates, automated contracting and payments, a content library, and Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads connections so creator content can run from the creator's own handle. Insense also states that creators grant brands perpetual full digital rights once content is approved and paid for, while the creator retains copyright, and that you get up to three revisions per order.

Two operational commitments are published as well: you should see creator applications one to three business days after a brief goes live, and content can arrive in as few as seven to ten business days. And there is a guarantee with teeth, which is rare in this category: Insense says at least five applicants matching the profile in your brief will apply, and if they do not match your stated criteria it will refund your subscription.

Five matching applicants is a floor, not a shortlist you can skip reading. Somebody on your team still has to open every profile, watch sample content and decide who gets the product, and that is the same first-round filtering problem hiring teams gave up doing manually years ago when a structured first-round screening pass got cheaper than the calendar time. Budget the hours, because they are real and nobody puts them on a pricing page.

Where Insense is the right buy

If the ad depends on a human physically handling your product, Insense earns its fee. Skincare texture on real skin, a fit check on a real body, food actually being eaten, a genuine unboxing reaction: none of that renders. Insense also covers jobs a video generator cannot touch at all, like product seeding, affiliate deals, TikTok Shop collaborations and sponsored posts on the creator's own audience, and its Meta Partnership Ads plumbing is the clean way to run those as paid social.

The people who regret it are usually testing rather than producing. If your problem this week is that you need fifteen hook variants of the same claim to find which one holds attention past three seconds, $150 to $185 per asset makes the test unaffordable, and shipping product to ten strangers makes it slow. That is the job an AI generator does well: our AI UGC pricing comparison puts the whole category side by side, and the honest summary is single-digit dollars per finished ad against $100 or more for a real creator.

Insense against the other creator marketplaces

The closest comparison is Billo, which sells prepaid packs instead of a subscription. The last price list Billo published publicly ran $500 for up to five videos, which is $100 per video with no separate platform fee, and it has not published prices since mid 2025. We broke that down on our Billo pricing page, including the archive record and the contract terms. On sticker mechanics, Billo is simpler for a brand that wants five videos and no ongoing commitment; Insense is stronger when you want the influencer distribution and the ads-manager connections, and it gets cheaper per asset the more you run.

If you are shortlisting on price alone, the ranking is stable: AI generators, then Billo packs, then Insense with its subscription, then a managed service. If you are shortlisting on what the asset has to prove, the ranking inverts. Most brands doing this seriously run both, which is also the conclusion on our Insense alternative page.

Insense pricing questions

How much does Insense cost?

$650 for a one month trial, then $500 a month billed quarterly as $1,500 on the Brand plan, or $400 a month billed annually as $4,800. The Agency plan is $800 a month quarterly or $640 annually. None of those figures include creator payments or the marketplace fee added to them, which is where most of the money goes.

Does Insense have a free trial?

No. The entry point is a paid trial at $650 for one month, and it upgrades automatically to the Brand plan at $500 a month billed quarterly unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the trial ends. There is no free tier and no free sample video, so your first look at the platform costs money.

What is the Insense marketplace fee?

A transaction fee added to every payment you make to a creator: 20 percent on the trial, 10 percent on the Brand plan and 7 percent on Agency. Insense describes it as 5 to 10 percent for payment facilitation plus 5 to 10 percent as a service fee. It scales with your creator spend, so it is a variable cost, not a flat one.

How much do creators charge on Insense?

Insense states UGC campaigns start at $100 per video, rising when you hire a creator it classes as a UGC expert or ask for both raw and edited assets. Sponsored posts on a creator's own account start at $125 for nano-influencers and increase with following size and placement. Product seeding can cost nothing beyond the product itself.

Is Insense worth it?

It is worth it if you need real people demonstrating a physical product, want influencer posts and Spark Ads from the same place, and are producing enough monthly volume for the 10 percent fee to beat sourcing creators yourself. It is poor value if you are testing creative angles at volume, where $150 or more per asset buys far fewer swings than a monthly AI plan.

What are the best Insense alternatives?

Billo for prepaid packs with real creators, Trend for a smaller marketplace, and AI UGC generators such as UGCGen, Creatify or Arcads when the asset does not need a human holding the product. The right shortlist depends on whether you are buying authenticity or buying iteration, and the two rarely compete for the same budget line.

Everything here is checkable: load insense.pro/pricing, click between the quarterly and annual toggles, and read the FAQ under the plan cards. Prices move, so verify before you commit to a quarter. And if what you actually need this month is ten versions of one script rather than one version of ten products, render a UGC-style ad from your product URL first and spend the creator budget on the angle that wins.
