Plans from $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly
Creatify API pricing is a subscription: API Starter is $99 a month for 500 credits and API Pro is $299 a month for 2,000, with custom Enterprise above that. A 30 second URL to video or AI Avatar ad uses 5 credits, so it costs about $0.99 on Starter and $0.75 on Pro. Aurora image to video is billed per second and Ad Clone per five seconds.
Rates follow Creatify's developer documentation page "Creatify API Billing and Credits" as read on October 25, 2026. Dollar per ad figures are our own arithmetic. For other vendors, use our AI UGC pricing hub or the Creatify app pricing page.

Creatify API plans and price per credit
Creatify sells API access as a monthly subscription. You subscribe, the plan unlocks API access and a block of credits, and each generation call spends credits. Above those thresholds Creatify asks you to book a call for an enterprise plan with custom packages and volume discounts.
| Plan | Price | Monthly credits | Cost per credit | Capacity at 5 credits per ad |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| API Starter | $99 a month | 500 | $0.198 | About 100 thirty second ads |
| API Pro | $299 a month | 2,000 | $0.150 | About 400 thirty second ads |
| API Enterprise | Custom, contact sales | Custom | Quoted | Volume discounts and SLA |
Cost per credit is the plan price divided by its credits, our arithmetic. Pro cuts the unit cost by about 24 percent, but you pay $200 more each month, so it only pays off when you need well over 500 credits. Creatify does not publish add-on pack prices on that page, so ask before you plan around overage.
What each Creatify API endpoint costs in credits
Credits are consumed on generation endpoints only. Reads and list calls are free. The dollar columns convert the published credit cost at the Starter and Pro rates above.
| Endpoint | Credit cost | Dollars on Starter | Dollars on Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| URL to Video | 5 per 30 seconds | $0.99 | $0.75 |
| AI Avatar (lipsync) | 5 per 30 seconds | $0.99 | $0.75 |
| Custom Template Video | 5 per 30 seconds | $0.99 | $0.75 |
| AI Shorts and AI Editing | 5 per 30 seconds | $0.99 | $0.75 |
| Aurora 1.0 | 1 per second | $0.20 a second | $0.15 a second |
| Aurora 1.0 Fast | 0.5 per second | $0.10 a second | $0.075 a second |
| Aurora 2.0 at 720p | 0.7 per second | $0.14 a second | $0.10 a second |
| Aurora 2.0 at 1080p | 1.4 per second | $0.28 a second | $0.21 a second |
| Boreal at 1080p | 3 per 10 seconds | $0.59 per 10 seconds | $0.45 per 10 seconds |
| Product Video (image) | 2 per image | $0.40 | $0.30 |
| Product Video (video) | 10 per 30 seconds | $1.98 | $1.50 |
| Ad Clone | 12 per 5 seconds | $2.38 | $1.79 |
| HTML Interactive Ad | 10 per ad | $1.98 | $1.50 |
| Text to Speech | 1 per 30 seconds | $0.20 | $0.15 |
| AI Scripts and Links | 1 per request or link | $0.20 | $0.15 |
Two details change budgets. The preview and render flow splits the same 5 credits into 1 for the preview and 4 for the render, so previewing five variants and rendering one costs 9 credits, not 5. And Aurora 2.0 defaults to 720p, so leaving the resolution unset bills 0.7 credits a second.
What a finished ad costs through the Creatify API
These are render costs only. They exclude the developer time to build the integration, script and asset review, and any ad you throw away. Plan for rejected takes when you set a monthly volume.
| Job | Credits | On Starter | On Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 second URL to video ad | 5 | $0.99 | $0.75 |
| 60 second AI Avatar ad | 10 | $1.98 | $1.50 |
| Five previews and one render of a 30 second ad | 9 | $1.78 | $1.35 |
| 8 second Aurora 2.0 clip at 720p | 5.6 | $1.11 | $0.84 |
| Ten 30 second ads a week for a month (about 43) | 215 | $42.57 | $32.14 |
| Clone a competitor's 5 second ad once | 12 | $2.38 | $1.79 |
At Starter's 500 credits you can run about 100 thirty second ads, which covers most small brands. The monthly fee dominates the real unit cost until you fill the plan: ten ads in a month cost $99 in subscription, or about $9.90 per ad.
Creatify API vs the Creatify app for the same 30 second ad
Creatify's consumer plans bill 5 credits per 15 seconds, so a 30 second ad is 10 credits. That makes the API cheaper per ad, but only if you can use the credits.
| Plan | Price and credits | 30 second ad |
|---|---|---|
| App Standard, monthly | $15 for 55 credits | $2.73 |
| App Pro, monthly | $55 for 280 credits | $1.96 |
| App Max, annual | $76 for 730 credits | $1.04 |
| App Business, annual | $156 for 1,500 credits | $1.04 |
| API Starter | $99 for 500 credits | $0.99 |
| API Pro | $299 for 2,000 credits | $0.75 |
The API is cheapest per ad, yet the cheapest entry costs $99 a month, against $15 for the app. If a person renders a few ads a month by hand, the app is cheaper overall. See the full Creatify pricing by plan.
Who should buy the Creatify API and who should buy finished ads
Platforms and apps that embed video
Choose the API when your product creates videos from links or catalog data without a person in the loop. Budget for webhooks, retries, review queues and the five minute URL to video latency.
Brands that need ads this week
If you do not have a developer, an API subscription is idle money. Use the app, or a finished-ad tool built for product pages. The Creatify alternative for volume UGC ads compares that route.
Agencies running many clients
API Pro's lower credit price helps once you render hundreds of ads a month. Below that volume, compare API cost against UGCGen Pro with bulk CSV import, white label delivery and team seats.
Creatify API vs UGCGen for finished product ads
The Creatify API is cheaper per second. UGCGen sells a finished ad with script, voice, lip sync, captions, five hook variations and every aspect ratio, with no engineering. Choose the API if you will build the pipeline, and UGCGen if you want the ad.
| Purchase | Price and allowance | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Creatify API Starter | $99 a month, 500 credits | Raw video endpoints and your own integration |
| Creatify API Pro | $299 a month, 2,000 credits | Higher volume and your own integration |
| UGCGen Starter | $49 a month, 19 seconds | Finished talking AI creator video |
| UGCGen Plus | $149 a month, 50 seconds of Veo video | 26 ad generations |
| UGCGen Pro | $499 a month or $249 billed yearly, 169 seconds of Veo video | 89 ad generations, 10 seats, bulk CSV, white label and API |
Review UGCGen plans and production allowances before choosing. UGCGen purchases are final with no refunds, so watch example ads first.
Creatify API pricing questions answered
How much does the Creatify API cost?
The Creatify API costs $99 a month for API Starter with 500 credits and $299 a month for API Pro with 2,000 credits. Enterprise is custom. Usage is billed in credits, so a 30 second URL to video ad costs 5 credits, about $0.99 on Starter and $0.75 on Pro.
Is the Creatify API free?
No. Creatify says a self-serve subscription unlocks API access and monthly credits, and the cheapest listed plan is API Starter at $99 a month. The consumer app has a separate free plan, but its credits do not fund the API. Budget the first test render as paid usage.
How many credits does a Creatify API video use?
URL to video, AI Avatar, custom template video and AI Shorts use 5 credits per 30 seconds. Aurora 1.0 uses 1 credit per second, Aurora 2.0 uses 0.4 to 2.8 credits per second by resolution, and Ad Clone uses 12 credits per 5 seconds. Text to speech is 1 credit per 30 seconds.
What does a 30 second Creatify API ad cost?
A 30 second URL to video or AI Avatar ad costs 5 credits, which is $0.99 on API Starter and $0.75 on API Pro. A 60 second ad is 10 credits, or $1.98 and $1.50. These figures are our arithmetic from the published credit costs and exclude your engineering and review time.
Is the Creatify API cheaper than the Creatify app?
For a 30 second ad, usually yes. The app bills 10 credits for 30 seconds, which is about $2.73 on monthly Standard and about $1.04 on annual Max. API Starter is $0.99. The API needs a developer to build and maintain the integration, and the entry price is $99 a month.
Do Creatify API credits expire or roll over?
Creatify's billing page does not state a rollover or expiry rule for API credits. It describes monthly credits that come with each plan and says you are billed on credits consumed. Treat unused credits as monthly allowance until you confirm otherwise with [email protected], and plan volume to fit each month.
How much does Aurora cost on the Creatify API?
Aurora 1.0 costs 1 credit per second and Aurora 1.0 Fast costs 0.5. Aurora 2.0 costs 0.4 credits at 480p, 0.7 at 720p, 1.4 at 1080p and 2.8 at 2k per second. At 720p, an 8 second clip is 5.6 credits, or about $1.11 on API Starter.
What happens when I run out of Creatify API credits?
Job creation returns an insufficient credits error, according to the Creatify API FAQ. The listed fixes are an add-on pack, a plan upgrade or an enterprise agreement. Creatify points to its enterprise call for volumes above roughly 2,000 renders a month.
Who should buy the Creatify API?
Buy it when your product, agency tool or store must create videos automatically from links, scripts or catalog data. If a marketer renders a handful of ads by hand, the app is simpler. If you want finished product ads without building anything, a tool like UGCGen is the lower-effort route.
Is UGCGen cheaper than the Creatify API?
No. On raw seconds the Creatify API is cheaper than UGCGen. UGCGen Starter is $49 a month for 19 seconds of finished talking AI creator video. You pay for a complete ad with script, voice, lip sync, captions and hook variations, with no code or integration work. Purchases are final.
Preview a finished product ad before buying
Use the credit card above to budget API renders. If your next step is a finished ad, paste a product URL to preview the UGCGen workflow, then review the paid plans. Purchases are final with no refunds.
