Higgsfield Pricing 2026: Is Higgsfield Free, Higgsfield Plans, Higgsfield Cost and Credits

Every Higgsfield plan read on both billing toggles, with the credit rates Higgsfield publishes per model converted into what a 30 second ad actually costs. Including the two things the $19 headline hides: the UGC builder is not on that plan, and every video count on the pricing page is a 5 second clip. Or skip the arithmetic: paste a product URL on the right and render a finished UGC ad in minutes.

The short answer

Higgsfield pricing runs a free tier and three paid plans. Billed monthly, Starter is $19 for 270 credits, Plus is $59 for 1,200 credits and Ultra is $129 for 3,000 credits. Billed annually the same plans read $19, $47 and $99 a month, so the annual toggle is labelled 30 percent off but delivers nothing on Starter, 20 percent on Plus and 23 percent on Ultra. Two details decide whether the Higgsfield cost works for advertising. First, the free tier is marked as no commercial use, and the UGC builder, lipsync and start-and-end-frame control all start on Plus, so the real entry price for ad work is $59 a month rather than $19. Second, when the page says 3,000 credits is "about 133 Seedance 2.0 videos", those are 5 second videos: at roughly 22 credits per 5 seconds, Ultra buys about 11 minutes of footage a month. Converted into ads, 30 seconds of 720p costs $0.59 with Seedance 1.5 and $7.18 with Google Veo 3.1 on the same Ultra annual plan. If you would rather buy finished ads than model seconds, UGCGen bills in ad generations, and the whole category sits on one page in our AI UGC pricing pillar.

The plans

Higgsfield plans and prices, monthly and annual side by side

Higgsfield's pricing page opens on the annual toggle with a banner reading 30 percent off, so that is the state most reviews screenshot. Here are both. Notice that the banner discount and the per-card discount are not the same number, and that Starter is priced identically either way.

The part the roundups miss

If you are buying Higgsfield for UGC ads, the entry price is $59, not $19

Almost every article about Higgsfield pricing leads with "from $19 a month". That is true of the subscription and false of the job. Higgsfield's own feature comparison gates the three capabilities a UGC advertiser needs above Starter.

UGC builder

Listed as not included on Free and Starter, included on Plus and Ultra. This is the feature that assembles a presenter-led product video rather than a raw generation, so it is the whole reason an ecommerce buyer looks at Higgsfield.

Higgsfield speak (lipsync)

Also Plus and above. Without it you have footage with no talking creator, and a UGC ad without a voice is a product montage. The lipsync models carry their own credit rates, from about 2 credits per 5 seconds on Kling Lipsync to about 58 per 8 seconds on Veo 3 with audio.

Commercial use

Marked not included on the free tier. So the free plan is a demo of the models, not a way to make an ad you can legally run. Commercial rights begin at Starter, which is the genuine argument for the $19 tier.

The better models

Starter is excluded from Seedance 2.0 at every resolution, from Kling 3.0 at 1080p and 4K, and from the Sora 2 family. It runs the Fast and Lite variants. Start-and-end-frame control, which is how you keep a product consistent across cuts, also begins on Plus.

The unit

Every "video" on the Higgsfield pricing page is 5 seconds long

The plan cards translate credits into video counts, which is helpful right up to the moment you assume a video is an ad. Do the division against Higgsfield's own rate table and the unit falls out. Plus is described as 1,200 credits and about 53 Seedance 2.0 videos. 1,200 divided by 53 is 22.6 credits per video, and Higgsfield lists Seedance 2.0 at 720p at about 22 credits per 5 seconds. So the counted video is a 5 second clip.

Plan Credits Higgsfield's video count Credits per counted video Total footage a month
Starter, $19 270 about 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos 18 about 75 seconds
Plus, $59 / $47 1,200 about 53 Seedance 2.0 videos 22.6 about 4 minutes 25 seconds
Ultra, $129 / $99 3,000 about 133 Seedance 2.0 videos 22.6 about 11 minutes

Eleven minutes a month at the top of the individual range is generous for a creator making short social posts. It is thin for a performance team, because a paid-social test is not one clip. It is a script, four or five takes of the hook, the takes you throw away, and then the same ad recut for 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5. Budget on footage generated, not footage kept, and Ultra starts to look like a few finished ads rather than 133 of anything.

Cost per ad

Higgsfield cost per 30 second UGC ad, by plan and by model

Higgsfield publishes a per-model credit rate, which is genuinely more transparent than most of its rivals. Divide the plan price by the credit allowance to get a price per credit, then multiply by the credits 30 seconds of footage burns. A credit costs 7.04 cents on Starter, 4.92 cents on Plus monthly, 3.92 cents on Plus annual, 4.30 cents on Ultra monthly and 3.30 cents on Ultra annual.

Model, 720p Published rate Credits for 30s Starter $19 Plus monthly Plus annual Ultra annual
Seedance 1.5 about 3 credits / 5s 18 $1.27 $0.89 $0.71 $0.59
Kling 3.0 about 7 credits / 5s 42 $2.96 $2.07 $1.65 $1.39
Higgsfield Speak 2.0 (lipsync) about 14 credits / 5s 84 Not on plan $4.13 $3.29 $2.77
Seedance 2.0 about 22 credits / 5s 132 Not on plan $6.49 $5.17 $4.36
Google Veo 3.1 about 29 credits / 4s 218 Not on plan $10.69 $8.52 $7.18
Seedance 2.0 at 4K about 110 credits / 5s 660 Not on plan $32.45 $25.85 $21.78

The spread is the story. On one plan, Ultra billed annually, the same 30 seconds of 720p footage costs 59 cents or $7.18 depending on which model you pick from a dropdown, and $21.78 if you also switch the resolution to 4K. That last number is 660 credits, or 22 percent of the entire Ultra monthly allowance, for a single half-minute clip. Nobody tells you this at checkout, because the plan card only quotes the cheap model.

Turn it around into ads a month and the plans size themselves. Starter's 270 credits buys six 30 second Kling 3.0 clips. Plus buys 28 of them, or nine Seedance 2.0 clips, or five with Veo 3.1. Ultra buys 71, 22 and 13 respectively, and four at Seedance 2.0 in 4K. If your testing calendar calls for twenty finished ads a month and you want the good model, Higgsfield's arithmetic points at Ultra and a pile of editing hours.

The contract

Six Higgsfield terms that matter more than the plan price

These come from Higgsfield's terms of use agreement, sections 9 and 10. They are public, they are short, and they change the real cost of a subscription more than a $12 difference between tiers.

Credits expire every cycle

Section 9.4: subscription credits are allocated per billing period and do not roll over. Unused credits at the end of a period expire. A quiet month is money gone, which is the opposite of how HeyGen handles the same problem.

Top-up packs last 90 days

Section 9.6: add-on credits are valid for 90 days from purchase, do not replenish, and are spent only after your subscription credits run out. Buy a big pack for one campaign and the remainder has a three month fuse.

Seven day refund, untouched only

Section 9.3: a refund can be requested within seven days of the initial purchase, only if no credits from it have been used, and it is subject to a service fee of up to 6 percent. One test generation and the window closes.

Renewals are never refundable

The same section states refunds apply to initial purchases and not to renewals. Combined with automatic renewal at the then-current price in section 10.2, a forgotten annual plan is a full year charged and not recoverable.

Thirty days notice on price rises

Section 10.1 is genuinely buyer-friendly: Higgsfield commits to at least 30 days advance email notice of any price increase, effective only from your next renewal term, and a renewal reminder on annual plans. Credit it where it is due.

The pack price list is in the app

The public pricing page mentions credit packs but puts the prices behind a button that needs an account. So the complete Higgsfield cost picture is not fully public, and any pack figure you read in a review is worth re-checking at checkout.

Which plan, which buyer

A Higgsfield review from the ad buyer's seat

Free

Looking, not shipping

No commercial use and one concurrent job. Fine for seeing whether the models hold your product's shape. Not a way to produce an ad you can run.

Starter, $19

Organic social, not paid

Commercial rights and 270 credits, roughly six 30 second Kling 3.0 clips. No UGC builder, no lipsync, no Seedance 2.0. Good for a founder posting to TikTok. Wrong plan for a media buyer.

Plus, $59 / $47

The real starting line

The first plan with the UGC builder, lipsync, frame control and the full model line-up. 1,200 credits is about nine Seedance 2.0 ads a month before you count discarded takes.

Ultra, $129 / $99

Volume and 4K

3,000 credits with 6,000 and 9,000 steps, eight concurrent jobs and the lowest cost per credit at 3.3 cents annual. This is the tier that makes sense if generation volume is your constraint.

The honest summary: Higgsfield is a strong generation engine with an unusually wide model catalogue and unusually transparent per-model rates. What it is not is an ad factory. Nothing in the price covers the script, the hook, the captions, the three aspect ratios or the variant management, and those are the hours that actually cost a performance team money. Whether Higgsfield is worth it depends on which of those two problems you are paying to solve. For the same comparison against the presenter-led tools, see our HeyGen pricing and TopView AI pricing breakdowns, which run the same arithmetic on credit plans built the same way.

Honest comparison

Higgsfield vs UGCGen, HeyGen and TopView on what you actually buy

All four sell AI video. Only some of them sell an ad. This is where Higgsfield wins and where it does not.

Tool Entry price for ad work Unit you buy Credits roll over Best at
Higgsfield $59 a month (Plus) Seconds of a chosen model No, expire each cycle The widest model catalogue and published per-model rates
UGCGen $49 a month Finished, captioned UGC ads Plan generations Product URL to a running ad, every aspect ratio
HeyGen $29 a month (Creator) Minutes of avatar video Yes, one extra cycle Photorealistic presenters and 175+ languages
TopView AI $29 a month (Pro) Seconds of a chosen model Annual pools upfront, monthly tiers expire Multi-model generation with a large annual pool

Where Higgsfield genuinely beats us: model choice. If you want Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance under one login with a published credit rate for each, Higgsfield is the better purchase and we would not pretend otherwise. Where we beat it: if the output you need is a finished ad rather than a clip, the credit model puts the assembly work back on you, and that work does not get cheaper with a bigger plan. A good Higgsfield alternative for that job is one that counts in ads, not seconds.

Questions buyers actually ask

Higgsfield pricing questions

How much does Higgsfield cost?

Higgsfield costs $19 a month for Starter, $59 for Plus and $129 for Ultra on monthly billing. Paid yearly the same plans are $19, $47 and $99 a month, so the annual discount is nothing on Starter, 20 percent on Plus and 23 percent on Ultra. There is a free tier with limited use and no commercial rights. Credits are 270, 1,200 and 3,000 a month.

Is Higgsfield free?

Higgsfield has a free tier, but its plan comparison marks commercial use as not included on Free. That means you can try the models but you cannot legally run the output as a paid ad. Commercial use starts on Starter at $19 a month. The free tier also gets one concurrent job and is excluded from most video models.

How many credits does a Higgsfield video use?

It depends entirely on the model. Higgsfield's own rate table lists Seedance 1.5 at about 3 credits per 5 seconds at 720p, Kling 3.0 at about 7, Seedance 2.0 at about 22, Google Veo 3.1 at about 29 per 4 seconds and Seedance 2.0 at 4K at about 110 per 5 seconds. That is a spread of more than thirty to one for the same length of footage.

What does a 30 second Higgsfield ad cost?

On Ultra billed annually, 30 seconds of 720p footage costs about $0.59 with Seedance 1.5, $1.39 with Kling 3.0, $4.36 with Seedance 2.0 and $7.18 with Google Veo 3.1. On Starter the same Kling 3.0 clip is $2.96 and the 270 credit allowance buys six of them a month. Those figures cover generation only, not scripting, captions or variants.

Does Higgsfield have a UGC builder?

Yes, but it is not on the $19 plan. Higgsfield's plan comparison lists UGC builder, Higgsfield speak and start and end frame control as included on Plus and Ultra and not included on Free or Starter. If you are buying Higgsfield specifically to make UGC ads, the real entry price is $59 a month, or $47 billed annually, not the $19 headline.

Do Higgsfield credits roll over?

No. Higgsfield's terms state that subscription credits are allocated per billing period, do not roll over, and expire unused at the end of the period. Separately purchased add-on credit packs are valid for 90 days from purchase and are spent only after your subscription credits run out. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Can you get a refund from Higgsfield?

Only within seven days of your initial purchase and only if no credits from that purchase have been used, and the refund is subject to a service fee of up to 6 percent where permitted. Higgsfield's terms say refunds apply to initial purchases and not to renewals, so a subscription that has auto-renewed is outside the window.

Is Higgsfield worth it for UGC ads?

It is worth it when you want raw generated footage from a wide model line-up and you already have an editor. It is a poor fit when you need finished ads at volume, because the allowances are counted in 5 second clips, credits expire monthly, and scripting, captions and aspect ratios are still manual work after generation.

What is a good Higgsfield alternative for ecommerce ads?

If the job is running paid social for a store, pick a tool that bills in finished ads rather than model seconds. UGCGen turns a product URL into a scripted, captioned, presenter-led UGC ad in every aspect ratio, with plans from $49 a month. Creatify and Tagshop are the closest credit-based alternatives if you prefer to stay on a credit model, and both are priced on our Creatify pricing and Tagshop AI pricing pages.
