Vidu Pricing Plans, Vidu AI Pricing Per Month and Cost Per Video Ad
Vidu sells credits, not videos. Here is what each plan really buys per dollar, what a Q3 or Q4 clip costs in credits, and how much footage a 30 second product ad uses before retakes.

Plans from $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly
Vidu costs $10 a month for Standard with 800 credits, $43 for Premium with 3,500, and $115 or $230 for Ultimate with 10,000 or 20,000, with yearly billing cutting those to about $8.25, $35.42, $95.83 and $191.67 a month. Read on Vidu's own pricing data on October 25, 2026, that is $0.0125 per credit on Standard monthly and $0.0096 on the best yearly tier. On the published API credit schedule, our arithmetic puts 30 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p footage at 720 credits, or $9.00 on Standard, before retakes.
Several price trackers still show $9.99, $19.99 and $59.99 for Vidu. Those numbers no longer match the live plans. For the difference between raw footage and a finished creator ad, see our AI UGC pricing guide.

Every Vidu plan in monthly and yearly billing
The pricing page loads its plans after the page renders, which is why most write-ups copy an old snapshot. We read the plan data the page itself requests. Standard, Premium and Ultimate each come in monthly and yearly form, and Ultimate splits into two credit tiers.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly total | Yearly per month | Monthly credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | None granted |
| Standard | $10 | $99 | $8.25 | 800 |
| Premium | $43 | $425 | $35.42 | 3,500 |
| Ultimate, first tier | $115 | $1,150 | $95.83 | 10,000 |
| Ultimate, second tier | $230 | $2,300 | $191.67 | 20,000 |
Yearly saves about 17 percent
Standard drops from $120 to $99 a year, Premium from $516 to $425, and Ultimate from $1,380 to $1,150 or $2,760 to $2,300. The yearly price is billed up front, so the saving is real only if you will use twelve months of credits.
Speed is part of the tier
The comparison table names a fast channel for Standard, a high-speed channel for Premium and an ultra-fast channel for Ultimate. All three list batch generation of 4 videos at once, so batching alone is not a reason to upgrade.
Team bundles are separate
Vidu also lists team bundles billed quarterly or yearly, starting in the hundreds of dollars and climbing into the thousands. They were not available to buy when we read the data, so budget a team on the individual tiers or ask sales.
What a Vidu credit costs on each plan
Dividing price by monthly credits shows that moving up a tier buys cheaper credits, but only modestly. The cheapest yearly credit costs about 23 percent less than a Standard monthly one. A bigger plan is mostly a bigger allowance, not a bargain.
| Plan | Monthly billing per credit | Credits per dollar | Yearly billing per credit | Credits per dollar |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.0125 | 80 | $0.0103 | 97 |
| Premium | $0.0123 | 81 | $0.0101 | 99 |
| Ultimate, 10,000 | $0.0115 | 87 | $0.0096 | 104 |
| Ultimate, 20,000 | $0.0115 | 87 | $0.0096 | 104 |
These are our calculations from the published prices and credit grants, rounded. The two Ultimate tiers cost exactly the same per credit, so choose between them on volume, not value. Credits are consumed per generation, so the real question is how many credits one usable clip takes, which the next section answers.
Vidu cost per video clip by model and resolution
Vidu publishes per-second credit rates in its API documentation. The app's own cost appears inside the product at generation time, so we use the API schedule as the best public yardstick and say so. Dollar figures price those credits at Standard monthly value, $0.0125 each.
| Model and resolution | Credits per second | 5 second clip | Clip value | 30 second total | 30 second value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Q3 Turbo 540p | 7 | 35 credits | $0.44 | 210 credits | $2.63 |
| Q3 Turbo 720p | 12 | 60 credits | $0.75 | 360 credits | $4.50 |
| Q3 Turbo 1080p | 13 | 65 credits | $0.81 | 390 credits | $4.88 |
| Q3 Pro 720p | 20 | 100 credits | $1.25 | 600 credits | $7.50 |
| Q3 Pro 1080p | 24 | 120 credits | $1.50 | 720 credits | $9.00 |
| Q4 preview 2K | 38 | 190 credits | $2.38 | 1,140 credits | $14.25 |
| Q4 preview 4K | 78 | 390 credits | $4.88 | 2,340 credits | $29.25 |
Q3 allows clips from 1 to 16 seconds and Q4 preview from 3 to 16, so a 30 second ad is two or three long takes or six short ones. For Q3 Pro and Turbo, off-peak generation is offered when audio is on, and it lists at roughly half the credits, for example 12 per second for Pro at 1080p. Older Q2 pricing charges more for the first second than for later ones, so short clips on Q2 cost more per second than long ones.
On the best yearly rate of $0.0096 a credit, the same 30 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p drops to about $6.90 and the 4K version to $22.42. That is still a single pass. A shot list with three takes per shot triples every figure above.
How much footage each Vidu plan buys
At the API schedule, Standard's 800 credits cover about 33 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p or 61 seconds of Q3 Turbo 1080p. Premium's 3,500 cover 145 and 269 seconds. The 10,000 credit Ultimate tier covers 416 and 769 seconds, and the 20,000 credit tier twice that.
So Standard funds exactly one 30 second ad a month with no retakes, which is a test, not a content calendar. A brand running two ad concepts a week with three takes per shot needs Premium at the least. Agencies generating variants for several clients are the audience Ultimate is built for.
None of this includes the script, the voice, captions, or the editing time to cut generated shots into a feed-ready ad. Those costs sit outside the credit meter, and they are the part a talking creator ad tool absorbs.
Vidu API pricing, trial and commercial use terms
The API is a separate wallet
API credits list at 0.03125 RMB each, with packs from 500 RMB for 16,000 credits to 20,000 RMB for 640,000. Packs allow up to 5 concurrent tasks and last a year. Failed generations, including moderation rejections, cost nothing. Vidu quotes the schedule in RMB, so convert at your own rate and confirm the checkout price in dollars.
The $4.99 VIP trial renews
The site promotes full VIP access from $4.99 and states the plan auto-renews after the trial, with cancellation allowed any time. Calendar the renewal date the day you start, because the default outcome is a full-price month.
Commercial use and watermarks
The comparison table lists commercial use and watermark-free download as plan features, and the download dialog warns that some videos cannot have the watermark removed for copyright reasons. Check both on a test export before you build a campaign on a plan.
Product ads need references
Vidu offers reference-to-video with several reference images, which is what keeps a real product recognizable across shots. Budget extra takes for label text and packaging, because generated footage can drift from the exact item you sell.
Vidu vs UGCGen for product video ads
Vidu is far cheaper per second of raw footage, and it has its own AI video ad tool and templates. A model credit wallet still leaves you to write the script, pick the voice, add captions and cut the edit. Compare the whole workflow, not only the sticker price.
| What you compare | Vidu | UGCGen |
|---|---|---|
| Paid entry | Standard $10 monthly or $8.25 yearly | Starter $49 monthly or $24 yearly, billed $288 |
| Entry allowance | 800 credits, about 33 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p | 19 seconds of talking AI creator video, 5 hook variations per ad |
| Output basis | Model footage to select and assemble | Finished ad with script, creator, voice, captions and hooks |
| Higher capacity | Premium $43 monthly or $35.42 yearly, 3,500 credits | Plus $149 monthly or $74 yearly, billed $888 |
| Plus production | Ultimate $115 to $230 monthly, 10,000 to 20,000 credits | 50 seconds of Google Veo video, 26 ad generations, batches up to 9 variants |
| Team workflow | Team bundles listed, not purchasable when read | Plus includes 25 languages and 3 seats |
| Larger UGCGen plan | Second Ultimate tier doubles credits at the same unit price | Pro $499 monthly or $249 yearly, billed $2,988 |
| Pro production | API wallet sold separately in RMB packs | 169 seconds, 89 generations, 10 seats, white-label and API access |
| Resolution basis | 540p to 4K, priced per second | Starter includes watermark-free 1080p and commercial rights |
| Refunds | Not stated on the pricing page | No refunds |
Choose Vidu when you want to direct a video model, test many looks and edit your own footage. UGCGen earns its higher price only when you want a finished talking creator ad without the edit. Review UGCGen pricing next to your credit budget before deciding.
Keep talking video seconds, ad generations and hook variations separate when reading UGCGen's allowance. They describe different parts of the finished ad workflow and should not be added together as if they were raw model footage. If you are also pricing other model wallets, our Pika pricing breakdown uses the same method, and our Vidu vs Kling cost per video ad comparison prices both side by side.
Vidu pricing questions, answered
How much does Vidu cost?
Vidu costs $10 a month for Standard with 800 credits, $43 for Premium with 3,500 credits, and $115 or $230 for the two Ultimate tiers with 10,000 or 20,000 credits. Yearly billing lowers those to about $8.25, $35.42, $95.83 and $191.67 a month. There is also a Free plan with no monthly credit grant.
Is Vidu AI free?
Vidu has a Free plan, but it grants no monthly credits, so it works as a way to look at the product rather than produce a campaign. The site also advertises a VIP trial from $4.99 that renews automatically afterward. Treat both as a test, because paid plans carry the credits and the professional features.
What are the Vidu AI pricing plans?
The Vidu AI pricing plans are Free, Standard, Premium and Ultimate, plus separate team bundles. Standard includes 800 monthly credits, Premium 3,500, and Ultimate 10,000 or 20,000 depending on the tier. Each paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly, and yearly billing is roughly 17 percent cheaper per month.
How many credits does a Vidu video cost?
On the published API schedule, a Vidu Q3 Pro clip at 1080p costs 24 credits per second, so five seconds is 120 credits. Q3 Turbo at 1080p is 13 per second, or 65 for five seconds. Q4 preview runs from 9 credits per second at 540p to 78 at 4K. Off-peak generation costs about half.
How much does a 30 second Vidu ad cost?
At the API credit schedule, 30 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p footage is 720 credits, which our arithmetic prices at $9.00 on Standard monthly credits and $6.90 on the cheapest Ultimate yearly rate. That is one pass with no retakes. Three takes per shot triples it, before script, voice, captions and editing.
Can I use Vidu for commercial ads?
Vidu lists commercial use and watermark-free download as plan features in its comparison table, so paid use is intended. The public page does not spell out which tier unlocks each one in text, so confirm both on your plan before running a paid campaign, and keep the plan screenshot with your campaign records.
Does Vidu have an API and how is it priced?
Yes. The Vidu platform sells API credits separately from app subscriptions. One credit lists at 0.03125 RMB, with top-up packs from 500 RMB for 16,000 credits, up to five concurrent tasks and one year of validity. Videos that fail to generate, including moderation rejections, do not consume credits.
What is the Vidu VIP trial for $4.99?
It is a promotional entry offer shown on the Vidu site that gives full VIP access from $4.99 and then auto-renews at the normal plan price unless you cancel. If you try it, set a reminder before the first renewal, because the trial converts you to a paid subscription by default.
Is Vidu cheaper than UGCGen for UGC ads?
Yes, per second of raw footage Vidu is far cheaper. Thirty seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p costs about $9 in credit value, before retakes. UGCGen Starter costs $49 a month for 19 seconds of a finished talking creator ad with script, voice, captions and hook variations, so the products solve different problems.
Which Vidu plan should an ecommerce brand pick?
Pick Standard to test whether Vidu footage suits your products, because 800 credits covers about 33 seconds of Q3 Pro 1080p. Move to Premium when you produce weekly, since it adds roughly 145 seconds a month. Ultimate only makes sense for agencies generating volume, where parallel batches and the faster channel save real time.
Put your product into a finished creator ad
Vidu makes sense when you want raw footage and control over the edit. If your next task is a talking creator ad with a script, voice, captions and hooks already assembled, start with your product URL in UGCGen.
